We look at how deep the damage goes before recommending anything. A chip through to primer, a clear coat that has started to lift at the edges, and a bonnet that has simply faded each need a different repair, and each costs a different amount.
Small chips and localised touch-ups can often be done where the car is parked, ideally in shade or a basement bay, because fresh paint does not like dust, sand or direct midday sun. Whole-panel resprays and anything that needs a booth are booked into the workshop through the same call.
Every repair starts from your car's paint code, then the mix is checked against the panel in daylight. Metallic and pearl finishes are blended into the surrounding area so the repair does not show as a patch when the light changes.
If you are calling us because the car also will not start after sitting in the heat, the technician deals with the battery first, testing, boosting or replacing it on the spot. Paint can wait a day; getting you moving cannot.
