How a roadside call-out works

  1. Step 1

    Share location and symptoms

Call or WhatsApp your live location, the car model and what is happening: no start, flat tyre, no fuel or keys locked in.

  2. Step 2

    Technician on the way

We confirm the price and the likely fix before dispatch. Average arrival is typically about 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

  3. Step 3

Test and fix on the spot

Battery tested and replaced or boosted, spare fitted, fuel added or car opened, with a quick check that nothing else is wrong.

  4. Step 4

    Drive on, or recovery arranged

You drive away once the car is safe. If it cannot be fixed there, recovery or towing is booked on the same call.

Help at the roadside

What 24/7 roadside assistance in Dubai covers

Good 24/7 roadside assistance in Dubai should get you driving again, not just loaded onto a truck. Many breakdowns come down to a flat battery, a flat tyre, an empty tank or keys locked inside, and all of them can usually be sorted where the car stopped.

Batteries are the core of what we do, and a car that will not start is usually a battery problem. Heat in Jumeirah and across Dubai shortens battery life, and a battery that was fine in winter can give up on the first hot morning. We test the battery and charging system, replace it on the spot if it has failed, or jump start it with a proper booster pack when it only needs a boost.

If the battery fails the test, it can be replaced on the spot with the right size and type for your car, including start-stop models that need AGM or EFB batteries. Flat tyres, empty tanks and lockouts get the same approach: fix it safely, check nothing else is wrong, and let you drive on.

Some problems are not roadside jobs. Overheating with coolant loss, gearbox faults, an oil pressure warning or accident damage mean the car should not be driven. In that case we tell you straight away and arrange recovery or towing on the same call, so you are not left searching for another number.

The first thing we rule out

Could it be the battery? What we test before quoting

A weak battery sits behind more faults than people expect. A quick voltage and load test tells us whether a replacement is the answer before any other work is priced.

12.6 V
Resting voltage
Read with the engine off. A charged, healthy battery shows about 12.6 V; once it drops near 12.0 V the starter usually gives up.
CCA
Cold cranking amps
The burst of current the battery can deliver to turn the engine over. Large engines and diesels need a higher figure, so we match it to your car rather than guess.
Ah
Capacity
Amp-hours: how much energy the battery stores for lights, screens, sensors and start-stop. Modern cars with heavy electrics need more of it.
Size
Case group & terminals
The physical size and which side the positive post sits on. The wrong group won't sit on the tray or reach the cables — the first thing we check before fitting.
How we read a battery before recommending anything
  • < 11.9 VFlat — load test, then replace or jump
  • 12.0 VNear empty — may not crank
  • 12.2 VAbout half — a boost charge helps
  • 12.4 VAbout 75% — healthy, keep driving
  • 12.6 V+Full — the battery isn't the problem

Stay off the hard shoulder

Six habits that prevent roadside breakdowns in Jumeirah

Many roadside call-outs trace back to a few preventable causes. These habits help.

  • Test the battery before summer

Heat is harder on batteries than cold. A quick test before the hottest months shows a weak battery before it strands you.

  • Watch for slow cranking

If the engine turns over more slowly than usual, the battery is warning you. Get it checked that week.

  • Keep the tank above a quarter

Traffic jams with the AC running burn fuel quickly, and long highway stretches can leave you far from a station.

  • Check the spare regularly

A spare that has lost air is no help. Check its pressure whenever you check the other four tyres.

  • Know where your spare key is

Keep it somewhere you can reach, and never step out leaving the key inside with the engine running.

  • Carry the basics

Keep a warning triangle, drinking water and a phone charger in the car so a wait at the roadside is safe.

Fix here or recover?

What can be fixed at the roadside, and what cannot

Knowing the difference saves you waiting for a truck you do not need, or driving a car that is not safe.

Fixable on the spot

Signs roadside assistance will get you moving

  1. Clicking or silence when you turn the key or press start
  2. Dim or dead dashboard lights after the car sat parked
  3. A flat tyre with a usable spare and an undamaged rim
  4. The fuel gauge on empty
  5. Keys locked inside a car that is otherwise fine

A technician can usually sort this where the car is and have you driving again.

Needs recovery or a workshop

Signs the car should not be driven

  1. Temperature gauge in the red, steam or coolant loss
  2. Oil pressure warning or loud knocking from the engine
  3. Grinding, or the car will not move in gear
  4. Still will not start after a jump start with a healthy battery
  5. Accident damage to wheels, steering or suspension

Do not keep trying to drive. We arrange recovery or towing on the same call.

Not sure which side you are on? Describe the symptoms and we will tell you honestly before sending anyone.

What's included

Roadside help we provide

Everything a technician can safely do where your car stopped, and a clear plan when that is not enough.

  • Core service

    Battery test and replacement

Battery and charging system tested where the car stopped, and a new battery of the right size and type fitted on the spot if yours has failed.

  • On the spot

    Jump start and battery boost

A booster pack gets a flat but healthy battery going at home, in a car park or at the roadside, without needing another car.

  • Tyres

    Flat tyre and spare change

Spare wheel fitted, nuts tightened and pressures checked, or a simple tread puncture plugged to get you moving.

  • Out of fuel

    Fuel delivery

Enough fuel brought to you to reach the nearest station. Tell us whether the car runs on petrol or diesel.

  • Keys

    Lockout help

Keys locked inside? We help you get back in carefully. Proof of ownership is needed before we open the car.

  • Same call

Minor fixes, or recovery if needed

Loose battery terminals and similar small faults fixed there. If the car is not safe to drive, recovery is arranged.

Pricing

What affects the cost of roadside assistance

A jump start in your building's car park is a different job from a battery replacement on a busy highway at night.

Roadside call-out

Quote first

The call-out and likely fix are priced and confirmed with you before work starts.

  1. Type of help

A jump start, tyre change, fuel delivery or lockout each take different time and equipment.

  2. New parts

If a new battery is needed, the price depends on the size and type your car takes, such as AGM for start-stop.

  3. Location and time

Where the car is and when you call can affect the call-out.

  4. Vehicle type

Large SUVs, 4x4s and some luxury cars need different batteries, tools or access.

  5. Recovery needed

If the car cannot be fixed on the spot, recovery or towing is quoted separately before it is booked.

A new battery, tyre repair or fuel is only added to the bill once you have agreed to it.

Battery died on my Land Cruiser outside our villa in Jumeirah 2. They arrived in about half an hour with the right size already in the van, tested the old one to show me it was finished and had the new one in within twenty minutes.

  • Priya Nair

I was sure I needed a new battery. The technician tested it in my building's basement near City Walk and said it was just drained from a dashcam. He boosted it and told me to unplug the camera. Honest, and it cost me far less.

  • Mohammed Rashid

My BMW needs the battery registered after a change and the last garage skipped it. These guys brought a proper AGM, used a memory saver so I kept all my settings, and coded it on the driveway. No warning lights since.

  • Sarah Whitfield

    last month

Arrived a bit later than quoted because of school-run traffic on Al Wasl Road, but they called ahead to say so. The battery swap itself was quick, neat and the price matched what they told me on WhatsApp.

  • Jomar Villanueva

Second time using them for the family cars in Umm Suqeim. Same technician, remembered the cars, fitted the battery, gave me the warranty on the invoice and took the old one away for recycling.

  • Deepak Sharma

Left the interior light on overnight in Al Safa. They came, jump started it and ran a test — battery still had plenty of life, so no replacement. I'll definitely call them when it does need changing.

  • Elena Petrova

Start-stop car that needs a specific EFB battery. They checked the spec before quoting and turned up with exactly the right one. Fitted in the car park at La Mer while I had lunch.

  • Faisal Hassan

Good battery, fair price and the fitting was tidy. Only note is I had to message twice to confirm the time. Once they were here it was all handled properly.

  • Anita Fernandes

Car wouldn't start in a tower basement on Sheikh Zayed Road where the tow company said they couldn't reach. These guys came down with the battery on a trolley and replaced it in the bay.

  • Tom Bradley

Called early on a public holiday expecting voicemail. Someone answered, the van came to our villa on the beach road, new battery fitted before breakfast. That's all I wanted.

  • Vikram Menon

Battery gave up in the August heat in Al Manara. They explained why batteries last only a couple of summers here and fitted one with a longer warranty. Clear, patient and quick.

  • Grace Okonkwo

Quoted over the phone, and the price on the invoice was the same. Battery fitted in our compound car park in Jumeirah 1 in about fifteen minutes. Rare these days.

  • Michelle Tan

My car died at school pickup and I was blocking the lane. They were there quickly with a boost, then came to the house the next morning to replace the battery.

  • Laura Kim

Technician arrived in a marked van, in uniform, with proper equipment and explained everything he tested. Calling alone in the evening, that professionalism mattered a lot.

  • نادية الزعابي

خدمة سريعة وصادقة في الصفوح. طلبت بطارية جديدة لكنهم أخبروني بعد الفحص أن المشكلة في الدينامو وليس البطارية. شكراً على الأمانة.

  • Sanjay Patel

    last year

Car had been standing three weeks while I travelled. Booked for the morning, they came to the villa, tested, replaced, done before I left for work. Saved in my phone now.

FAQ

Your 24/7 Car Roadside Assistance questions

Didn't find your question? Call +971 54 318 8600 — a real person picks up, 24/7.

What does 24/7 roadside assistance in Dubai include?

Jump starts, battery testing and replacement, flat tyre and spare changes, fuel delivery, lockout help and small on-the-spot fixes. If the car cannot be made safe to drive, we arrange recovery or towing on the same call.

My car will not start. Can you jump start it where it is?

Yes, at home, in a car park or at the roadside. We use a booster pack, so no second car is needed, then test the battery to see whether it will start reliably again.

Will I need a new battery after a jump start?

Not necessarily. A battery can go flat from lights left on or weeks of parking and may recover after a good drive. We test it after starting. If it has failed, we can replace it on the spot once the price is confirmed with you.

Can you bring fuel if I run out?

Yes. We bring enough fuel to get you to the nearest station. Tell us whether the car takes petrol or diesel, and mention it if a diesel ran completely dry, as some engines need extra steps to restart.

I locked my keys inside the car. Can you help?

Yes. Tell us the make and model when you call. For security, we ask for proof that the car is yours, such as the registration card and Emirates ID, before opening it.

What happens if the car cannot be fixed at the roadside?

We tell you straight away, explain why and arrange recovery or towing to your chosen garage on the same call. The price for that is confirmed separately before it is booked.
