More than a tow
What car recovery in Dubai actually involves
Car recovery in Dubai starts where a normal tow cannot: the car is sunk in sand, hanging off a kerb, wrecked after a collision or sitting dead in a basement a truck cannot reach. The job is to get it out without adding damage, then move it.
Every recovery is planned before anyone pulls. A photo and a live location tell the driver whether the car can be winched straight onto the flatbed, needs straps fixed to the proper recovery points, or has to be moved on wheel skates first. Pulling from a bumper, a suspension arm or the wrong angle is how a stuck car turns into a damaged one.
The ground in Jumeirah and across Dubai creates its own problems. Soft sand beside roads and on unpaved tracks swallows tyres quickly, and spinning the wheels only digs them deeper. Low ceilings and tight ramps in residential and mall basements limit which truck can get in, so the route in and out matters as much as the pull itself.
Cars that cannot roll need extra care. Accident damage can jam a wheel against the arch, brakes seize on cars parked for months, and many electronic parking brakes and gear selectors will not release without battery power. A boost from a jump pack, or a fresh battery fitted on the spot, sometimes frees them, which can make the whole recovery simpler.
