Why car AC fails in the UAE
Car AC repair in Dubai starts with the leak
Car AC repair in Dubai is less about adding gas and more about finding why it escaped. Here the air conditioning runs almost all year, often at full blast, so compressors, condensers and seals wear faster than manufacturers plan for.
A car parked in the sun can reach cabin temperatures well above the outside air, and the AC then has to pull that heat out while sitting in stop-go traffic with little airflow over the condenser. That constant load is what exposes a weak compressor clutch, a failing cooling fan or a slow leak.
Dust and sand pack into the condenser fins at the front of the car and clog the cabin filter, which cuts cooling even when the gas level is right. Road debris on highways can also puncture a condenser, and rubber O-rings dry out and crack in the heat.
We connect gauges to read high and low side pressures, check the compressor clutch and fans, and use UV dye or a detector to trace leaks. Many fixes, like cabin filters, relays, fan faults and some hose seals, are done where the car is parked. Compressor or evaporator replacement is booked into a workshop during the same call.
The AC compressor also draws on the battery and alternator, so if the AC cuts out together with flickering lights, we test the charging system too.
