Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use jumeirahbattery.ae or book any service from Jumeirah Battery. Please read them before you ask us to attend your vehicle. Last updated: 11 September 2026.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using jumeirahbattery.ae, calling us or messaging us on WhatsApp to book a service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Jumeirah Battery, and “you” means the person requesting the service.

2. Our services

Jumeirah Battery is a mobile car battery service based in Jumeirah and operating across Dubai. Our services include:

  • On-the-spot car battery testing and replacement, including registration or coding of the new battery where the vehicle requires it.
  • 24/7 car jump starts.
  • Battery boosting and charging at the vehicle.
  • Car recovery, towing and roadside assistance.
  • Garage services, including engine, AC, AC gas, gearbox and transmission, clutch, brakes, tyres and puncture repair, wheel alignment, suspension, oil change and maintenance.
  • Body and paint, scratch and paint repair, detailing and pre-purchase inspection.

3. Where the work is done

Some jobs, such as battery replacement, jump starts, battery boosting and puncture repair, are usually done at the car. Other jobs need workshop equipment, so we may need to collect the vehicle and return it once the work is finished.

We will tell you before we start whether your job can be done on the spot or needs workshop collection.

4. How booking works

You book by calling +971 54 318 8600 or messaging us on WhatsApp at +971543188600. We will ask for your vehicle details, your location and a description of the problem.

Arrival times given are estimates only and not guarantees. Traffic, weather, road closures, access restrictions and demand can affect how quickly we reach you, and we will keep you updated if a delay is expected.

A booking is confirmed when we agree to attend. We may decline a booking, for example if the location is outside our service area or the job is not one we can safely carry out.

5. Quotes and pricing

We confirm the price with you before any work starts, including the cost of any parts or battery. A quote given over the phone or WhatsApp is based on the information you provide and may change if the vehicle's condition or the fault is different on inspection.

If we find that additional work or parts are needed, we will explain why and give you the updated price. We will only carry out additional work with your approval.

All prices are in UAE dirhams (AED) and include VAT where applicable.

6. Diagnosis first

Where appropriate, we test the battery, charging system or fault before recommending or selling any part. If the test shows your battery is still healthy, we will tell you.

If no work or parts are needed after diagnosis, a call-out or diagnostic fee may apply, but only if that fee was agreed with you in advance.

7. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work. We accept cash and card at the car, and buy-now-pay-later options such as tabby or tamara may be offered at the car, subject to the provider's approval and terms.

For jobs involving workshop collection, payment is due when the vehicle is returned to you, unless we agree otherwise in advance. You will receive an invoice showing the work done, parts supplied and the price paid.

We do not take payments through the website.

8. Cancellations and no-shows

You can cancel a booking at no charge by calling or messaging us before the technician sets off. Please let us know as early as possible if you no longer need us, for example if your car has started.

If you cancel after the technician is on the way, or the technician arrives and cannot find you or access the vehicle, a call-out fee may apply if it was communicated to you when you booked.

If we need to cancel or cannot attend, we will tell you as soon as possible. We will not charge you in that case.

9. Your responsibilities

To help us work safely and quickly, you agree to:

  • Make sure the vehicle is in a safe location and, where you control this, legally parked.
  • Be the owner of the vehicle or have the owner's permission for the work to be carried out.
  • Give us accurate information about the vehicle, its make, model and year, and the problem.
  • Stay with or near the vehicle, or arrange for someone authorised to be there, and have the keys available.
  • Arrange access to basement parking, gated communities, towers or private premises, including any security passes or building permissions required.
  • Remove valuables from the vehicle, especially before recovery or workshop collection.
  • Tell us about any known electrical faults, warning lights, modifications or previous repairs.

10. Safety

The safety of you, other road users and our technicians comes first. A technician may refuse to start or continue a job if they reasonably believe it is unsafe, for example because of the vehicle's position, traffic, a fuel or battery leak, or visible damage.

Roadside work on highways and major roads is carried out in line with Dubai Police and RTA rules. In some cases the vehicle must be recovered to a safe place before any work can be done.

11. Parts, batteries and warranties

Batteries and parts carry the manufacturer's warranty for that product. The warranty period and conditions are stated on your invoice.

Our workmanship is covered by the warranty terms stated on your invoice. Please keep your invoice, as we will need it to handle any claim.

To make a warranty claim, contact us on +971 54 318 8600 or WhatsApp at +971543188600. We may need to test the battery or part to confirm the fault is covered.

  • Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect or accidents.
  • Warranties do not cover faults caused by electrical problems elsewhere in the vehicle, such as a faulty alternator, parasitic drain or wiring issue.
  • Warranties do not cover products affected by modifications, aftermarket accessories or repairs carried out by others.
  • Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear.

12. Jump starts on modern vehicles

Modern vehicles contain sensitive electronics. We use surge-protected jump starting equipment and follow the correct connection procedure to reduce the risk of electrical damage.

A jump start does not repair the underlying cause of a flat battery. We recommend having the battery and charging system tested.

Within the limits permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for pre-existing electrical faults, or for faults that appear because an existing problem is revealed when the vehicle is started.

13. Recovery and towing

Before loading, we document the vehicle's visible condition, which may include photos, and you or your authorised representative may be asked to confirm it.

Please remove personal belongings and valuables before the vehicle is recovered. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle, except where loss or damage is caused by our negligence.

You must tell us if the vehicle has any condition that affects how it can be safely moved, such as being all-wheel drive, lowered, locked in gear or having damaged wheels.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of earnings, missed appointments or the cost of alternative transport.

To the extent permitted by UAE law, our total liability for any job is limited to the price you paid for that job.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under UAE law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Trademarks and independence

Jumeirah Battery is an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer or battery brand named on jumeirahbattery.ae.

Brand names and logos are used only to describe the vehicles and products we service and supply. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

16. Website use and accuracy

The information on jumeirahbattery.ae is provided for general guidance. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but service availability, product ranges and prices may change, and the price that applies to your job is the one we confirm with you before work starts.

You must not misuse the website, including by attempting to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access or copy its content for commercial use without our permission.

The website may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

17. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. It explains what we collect when you contact us, how we use cookies and advertising tools, and your rights.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you book applies to that booking.

These terms were last updated on 11 September 2026.
